Michael Kors announce Sofie and Grayson Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches
Last week at Baselworld 2017 watch show, luxury fashion brand Michael Kors expanded its range of smartwatch with the addition of Sofie and Grayson.
The Grayson is designed for men, sporting a metal case with a rotating crown for scrolling and two button. It will come come in gold, stainless steel and blue-on-black with four strap options. Sofie on the other hand is designed for woman with a light-weight body, sporting full-on jewelry with its "pave embellished bezel" with a full set of cubic zirconia and a single side button. It will be offered in eight color-and-bracelet combinations and seven strap choices.
Both smartwatches are running Android Wear 2.0, is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 2100 chip and has touchscreen AMOLED display. They will also feature enhanced fitness tracking features. Details about other specs are scant. Like other Michael Kors wearables, Sofie and Grayson will be compatible with Android and iOS devices.
The Michael Kors My Access app have also been updated and now includes a new feature called My Social, which allows the user to link her/his Instagram account and set a personal post photo as a watch photo.
Michael Kors plans to release both Sofie and Grayson this fall starting at $350, but the exact date is not known.
