Movado Connect Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch announced


Luxury watch maker Movado unveiled its new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch, the Movado Connect at the Baselworld 2017 watch show.

The Movado Connect touchscreen smartwatch sports an edge-to-edge crystal and always on display, and has a stylish and elegant design, with a simple dot used as a 12'o clock indicator. It will also come with 100 other watchfaces, and each will have single dot design with brilliant new color, dimension, complication, details and day to night transformation.

The smartwatch supports NFC for Android Pay, and can also integrate with Google Fit and Health apps and receive push notifications. Since Movado Connect is running Android Wear 2.0 it will support Google Assistant for performing tasks, getting answers, directions and timely reminders.

Movado did not reveal the specs of the smartwatch, but it is most likely to run Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 wearable platform. The Movado Connect smartwatch will launch this fall in five styles for men starting at $495 (Rs. 32,500).
