vivo Y66 with 16MP selfie camera launched in India at Rs. 14,990


Following the launch of Y53, vivo is launching a new selfie-focus smartphone dubbed vivo Y66. The main highlight of the phone is its front facing camera, which is a 16MP f/2.0 sensor and is assisted by a moonlight glow’ front flash for capturing quality selfies even in the darkest of surroundings. The main camera is a 13MP f/2.2 lens with an LED flash.

The vivo Y66 had 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor paired with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB RAM. Storage on-board is 32GB, which can be expanded via microSD card. 

Connectivity options include hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery and runs Android Marshmallow based Funtouch OS 3.0.

The phone also comes with special features like smart split-screen mode and built-in eye-protection mode. It sports a unibody metal design with Crown Gold and Rose Gold paint job, measuring 153.8  x 75.5 x 7.6mm and weighs 155g.

The vivo Y66 is priced at Rs. 14,990 and will be available across the country starting March 20. It comes bundled with six months of Saavn Pro music streaming service.
