Acer Aspire U27, Aspire Z24 are ultrathin AIO PCs with Kaby Lake, fanelss cooling system

Acer at the company's  next@acer press event held in New York introduced two new sleek AIO desktop PCs namely, the Aspire U 27 and Aspire Z24 boasting fanless design.

Both Aspire U27 and Aspire Z24 comes with Acer's LiquidLoop fanless cooling system which allows for quieter operation, a screen that tilts from -5 to 25 degrees for easy adjusting viewing angles, Dolby Audio Premium, seventh generation Intel Core processors and optional Intel Optane memory to provide a powerful and responsive Windows 10 experience and home entertainment system, while allowing it to shine as a modern piece of home decor.

The Aspire U27 boasts ultra-thin 12mm (0.5-inch) chassis supported by an elegant diamond cut v-shaped metal stand. It features 27-inch Full HD wide viewing angle touch display bearing the resolution 1920 x 1080, and has a specially designed subwoofer for deep bass sounds. It comes with Kaby Lake CPU, up to 32GB RAM and up to 2TB HDD.

The Aspire Z24 AIO on the other hand is extremely thin at 11mm (0.4-inch), with a beautifully shaped rear cover and sports 24-inch Full HD touchscreen display. It also comes with Kaby Lake CPU, up to 32GB RAM and up to 2TB HDD, but gets a discrete NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics and an optical drive.

Both feature Acer's ExaColor technology, which corrects the colors and tunes contrast for vibrant and accurate picture quality, Acer's BlueLightShield, which reduces the emission of blue light from screen to help minimize eye strain, and Acer's Flickerless technology to cut down eye fatigue. They also come with an IR camera for Windows Hello functionality, so that members of the family can each log in to their accounts faster and more securely via facial recognition; and smart leather cable management holder to keep the workspace neat, free of wires.

The Acer Aspire U27 and Aspire Z24 will be available in North America in July starting at $1099 and $899 respectively; in EMEA region in May starting at  €1,299 (U27)and €749 (Z24). The Acer Z24 will also be available in China in June starting at CNY 4999.
