Intex FitRist Cardio fitness tracker with heart-rate sensor launched at Rs. 1,499


Intex is upgrading its FitRist fitness tracking band, adding a new feature that will bring it in line with Xiaomi's Mi Band 2. The new FitRist Cardio comes with a heart rate sensor for heart-rate monitoring, which was missing on its predecessor.

Also, the FitRist Cardio packs 80mAh battery same as the FitRist, but now offers seven days of battery life instead of 12. Apart from these, the rest of the functions remain the same.

Like its predecessor, FitRist Cardio is capable of tracking steps taken, calories burned, distance traveled and can monitor the quality of the sleep. It also includes Hydration Alarm, allowing you to set up water reminders to make sure you intake water on a regular interval. 


The FitRist Cardio sports 0.85-inch OLED display and shows time/date, battery status and fitness stats. It also shows notifications for incoming calls, SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger when paired with compatible smartphone (Android 4.4/iOS 7 or higher) via Bluetooth. The fitness tracker also lets you control your smartphone's camera and music app. It also has a built-in alarm, and boast security feature like find the device and Anti-loss, which protects your device from losing.

The fitness tracker is water resistance and splash proof adding durability, and weighs just 26g.

The Intex Fitrist Cardio is priced at Rs. 1,599, (Rs. 500 more than FitRist) and will be available exclusively through Amazon India. It is priced Rs. 500 lesser than Xiaomi's popular fitness band, Mi Band 2.
