Meizu E2 to launch in China on April 26

Meizu has scheduled an event for April 26 in home country in China to unveil its latest budget E-series smartphone, the E2.

The new E2 could be the Meizu M612C-S, that received TENAA certification last month. This is because, the images posted on TENAA matches the sketch of E2 on the invite poster.

If this is true than Meizu E2 will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display, 1.8GHz octa-core processor, 13MP/5MP camera and 3290mAh battery. It will run Android Marshmallow and come in three variants - 2GB RAM/16GB storage, 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM 64GB storage.

The phone will sport a metal unibody design and come with hybrid dual-SIM slots and fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. The dimensions are 153.6 x 75.6 x 8.15 mm, weighs 175 grams, and will come in white, silver and blue colors.

There's also another model M621C that will have almost same specs but come with 5.2-inch HD display, 1.3GH quad-core processor and 2930mAh battery. It is not clear if this phone will also be announced at the event.
