Samsung launches Nougat powered Galaxy J3 Prime in the US


Samsung has launched a new 'Galaxy J' series budget smartphone in the US called Galaxy J3 Prime  running Android Nougat and with 4G VoLTE support.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime sports 5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 14nm processor, with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded via micro SD card.

It comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. A 2600mAh battery keeps the lights on.

The Galaxy J3 Prime is priced at $150 (Rs. 9,600) and will be available in the US through T-Mobile and Metro PCs. It will also be offered with 24-month contract at $6 per month.
