Amazon's new Echo 'Knight' with built-in touchscreen shown in leaked image

Amazon's Echo family includes smart speakers (Dot, Tap and Echo) and a new smart camera (Echo Look) that offers fashion tips. But last year a report claimed that Amazon is working on a new premium echo like speaker with a built-in touch screen display, and now thanks to Evan Blass, we now know what the final product  would look like.

The new Echo device reportedly codenamed Knight has a large touchscreen display on the top with an upward viewing angle for a better view. The display will reportedly be 7-inch and will make it easier for users to access content such as weather forecasts, calendar appointments, news and other data, where Alexa's voice can't offer a perfect information.

Below the display there's speaker grille, which is said to offer better high-quality sound than previous Echo models. It also has a camera above the screen, hinting the device could have video calling capabilities and "Style Assistant" feature of the recently launched Echo Look.

The  device will support Amazon's digital voice assistant Alexa, and is expected to run on a modified version of Fire OS, based on Android that already powers Amazon's Fire tablet.

The Echo 'Knight' is expected to launch early next month and will come in White and Black color.
