Asus ZenBook Flip S is a premium, slim convertible notebook


Asus has introduced ZenBook Flip S (UX370) convertible notebook at Computex 2017, which it claims to be the world's thinnest convertible, measuring at just 10.9mm thick. It is also said to be the lightest at 1.1kg.

The Asus ZenBook Flip S features 13-inch touch Full HD / 4K UHD display. Its display is called NanoEdge, showing very littel bezels and includes a 360-degree ErgoLife hinge, that comes with dual-action mechanisms, so than you can lift or tilt the keyboard to a comfortable typing position, when the display is opened beyond 135-degree. You can also fold back the screen to use it as a tablet.

The convertible can be configured with Intel Core i5/i7 U-series processor (up to 7th generation Intel Core i7-7500U), up to 16GB RAM and  up to 1TB SSD.

Other specs include Harman Kardon certified audio, Asus Pen support, fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello, VGA webcam, 2 x USB 3.1 Type-C ports, 3.5mm headphone jack and up to 11 hours of battery life. It is also equipped with a "liquid-crystal-polymer fan" that is just 0.3mm thin.

The ZenBook Flip S (UX370) will be available from September 2017 starting at $1099 (Rs. 70,100).
