Asus ZenBook Pro UX550 features a premium design and beefier specs

Asus is upgrading its ZenBook Pro line with a new model featuring a premium design and beefier specs. It sports an all-aluminum metal body that comes in Blue and Black colors and has diamond cut edges, giving it a premium look. It measures 18.9mm thick and weighs 1.8kg, making it portable enough for its class.

The new ZenBook Pro (UX550) has a 15.6-inch Full HD / 4K UHD NanoEdge display (optional touchscreen model available as well), with 7.3mm slim bezel, and is powered by up to 7th generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor. It packs NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050 Ti graphics and supports up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB SSD.

The ports on-board include 2 x USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 3, 2 x USB Type-A 3.1 ports, HDMI 1.4 port, microSD card reader and 3.5mm audio jack. 

Other specs are quad speakers tuned by Harman Kardon surround-sound audio, fongerprint scanner for one-touch login via Windows Hello and up to 14 hours of battery life.

The new ZenBook Pro will be available this summer with prices starting at $1299, which is around Rs. 84,000.
