Huawei Y6 (2017) with 13MP rear camera, 3000mAh battery announced

After launching Y3 (2017), Y5 (2017) and Y7, Huawei is introduced yet another 'Y' series smartphone dubbed Y6 (2017). Interestingly, the design and almost the entire specs sheet are same as the Y5 (2017), but the Y6 (2017) comes with improved rear camera sensors. It gets a 13MP rear facing camera instead of 8MP found on the Y5 (2017). Other specs are exactly the same.

The Huawei Y6 (2017) features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, that can be increased via microSD card. It has 5MP front facing camera and cmes with front and rear flash.

In terms of connectivity, it offers support for dual-SIMs, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery, which promises 1.5 days of normal usage and runs Android Marshmallow based EMUI 4.1.

Similar to Y5 (2017), the new Y6 (2017) also includes Easy Key button on the left said, that gives quick access to your favorite apps (camera, flashlight and more) by a simple press, double press and press-and-hold gesture system.

Huawei is yet to reveal the pricing and availability details, but considering the specs, it can be expected to be priced below €200. When released, the Huawei Y6 (2017) will be available in White, Gold and Grey colors.
