Motorola’s entire 2017 roadmap revealed


Multiple reports in the past have suggested that Motorola is working on a number of smartphones to launch this year. Just recently details about Moto X4 (earlier called Moto X 2017) was revealed in a presentation video coming out of China. At the same event, Motorola also discussed its upcoming plans.

A slide showing the company's 2017 roadmap have leaked courtesy of Evan Blass, suggests that Motorola will launch a range of smartphones from the entry-level up to the flagship lines including C, E, G, X and Z series. 

Motorola plans to launch a total of nine devices later this year and these include Moto Z2 Play, Moto Z2 Force, Moto X4, Moto G5S, Moto G5S Plus, Moto E4, Moto E4 Plus, Moto C and Moto C Plus. The slide of the reveals some key details of these devices as well

Moto Z2 Force – MotoMod support, Gigabit LTE and shatterproof display
Moto Z2 Play – 5.5-inch display and support for MotoMods
Moto X4 – 5.2-inch display, dual-camera setup, metal and glass construction
Moto G5S+ – 5.5-inch Full HD display and dual-camera setup
Moto G5S – 5.2-inch display and full metal body
Moto E4 Plus – 5.5-inch HD display and 5000mAh battery
Moto E4 – 5-inch display with 2.5D curved glass on top, fingerprint scanner
Moto C Plus – 5-inch display, 4000mAh battery
Moto C – 5-inch FWVGA display and 4G support

These new Moto phones are nearing their official launch, unfortunately an exact date is yet to be announced by Motorola. Besides the smartphones, Motorola is also said to be working on a new tablet as well.
