Samsung launches 32GB Galaxy J5 Prime in India for Rs. 14,900
Samsung is launching a new storage variant of Galaxy J5 Prime, which was launched back in September last year. The new Galaxy J5 Prime comes with 32GB storage, instead of 16GB found on the regular model.
It is priced at Rs. 14,900 and will be available for purchase soon via offline stores. The 16GB model carries a price tag of Rs. 13,790. Apart from increased storage, the rest of the specs sheet is the same.
The new 32GB Galaxy J5 Prime features 5-inch HD display, quad-core Exynos processor, 2GB RAM, 13MP f/1.9 rear camera, 5MP f/2.2 front camera, 4G LTE, VoLTE and 2400mAh battery. It has a fingerprint scanner at the back and boots Android Marshmallow. It also includes dual-SIM slots and microSD card slot, and comes with Samsung's S Power Planning and S Secure features.
Last month Samsung also launched 32GB version of Galaxy J7 Prime for 16,900.
Now-a-days most of the smartphones in the Rs. 15,000 price segment comes with 32GB storage. It appears that Samsung is playing catch up by introducing 32GB version of smartphones in the Rs. 15,000 segment.
