Asus ZenFone 4 Max render reveals dual-camera setup
Asus is reportedly working on its next ZenFone line up ― the ZenFone 4. Just a few days back it was found listed on Asus' database, revealing it would feature 5.5-inch display, Qualcomm processor and 4G LTE. Now more details has hit the interwebs.
Three Asus smartphones, the ZenFone 4s and ZenFone 4 Max along with ZenFone 4 were mentioned on the company's quarterly earning reports. In addition, a render of ZenFone 4 Max was also found on the report.
As seen in the render, the ZenFone 4 Max will be Asus' second smartphone to feature dual-camera setup, after the ZenFone 3 Zoom. The addition of dual-cameras suggest that the premium ZenFone 4 model will also have dual-camera setup.
ZenFone 4 Max will also have a metal unibody design, and a physical home button below the display, which could also house the fingerprint sensor. It is also mentioned that the device will offer "Luxury for Everyone" suggesting it will pack premium specs, but be a budget smartphone aimed at the everyone.
The main highlight of ZenFone Max device is its battery capacity, so it will be no surprise if the ZenFone 4 Max will pack a beefy battery capacity. For reference, the ZenFone 3 Max had 4100mAh battery that would last a day on heavy usage.
Meanwhile, the report also reveals that the ZenFone 4 will be part of Asus's "Premium Luxury" line and ZenFone 4S will be "Ultimate Luxury" product, suggesting they will be expensive and have high-end features. Unfortunately specs of these devices are still a mystery.
Just yesterday, Asus announced price cut on ZenFone 3 In India to make way for its successors. The company said "we plan to introduce an exciting range of products this year and the price reduction of ZenFone 3 is a precursor to the forthcoming product line-up." strongly hinting that ZenFone 4 line up could be announced very soon.
