Samsung Z4 with Tizen OS 3.0, 4G VoLTE announced, launching in India soon


Samsung has finally launched its latest Tizen powered smartphone dubbed Samsung Z4. It runs Tizen 3.0 OS and supports 4G LTE, VoLTE and VoWiFi. Samsung says the Z4 "combines performance and essential features with simplified user experience"

The Samsung Z4 features 4.5-inch WVGA display with 2.5D curved glass and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. There is no word of internal storage, but it's most likely to be 8GB. There's microSD card slot for storage expansion.

For photography it get 5MP f/2.2 rear camera with dual-LED flash and 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera also assisted by LED flash, for capturing high-quality selfies in low-light conditions.  

Connectivity options include dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is fueled by 2050mAh battery.

The device also offers a slew of features that will give you fast and easy access to frequently used function. Using different combinations of physical buttons or swiping the screen, you can creat shortcuts to launch Quick Talk, Quick Torch, Quick Launch Camera, or Quick Switch without the need of home screen.

The Samsung Z4 will launch in select countries this month starting with India, followed by other market. It will be available in Black, Gold and Silver colors.
