Xiaomi Mi 6c with Snapdragon 660, 6GB RAM passes through GFXBench

The Xiaomi Mi 6 is the most affordable Snapdragon 835 powered flagship of 2017, and it appears that Xiaomi is working on a more affordable version, featuring Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6XX Mobile Platform and single rear camera.

A new Xiaomi device codenamed Jason has run through GFXBench bench-marking website, revealing key specs. It is reportedly being called the Mi 6c.

As per the listing, Xiaomi Mi 6c will have 5.1-inch Full HD display and will be powered by Qualcomm's new mid-range Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform with octa-core CPUs with a clock speed of 2.2GHz couple with Adreno 512 GPU.

It will come with 6GB RAM and house 64GB storage, 12MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. It will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat MIUI.

An affordable version of Mi 6 is no surprise, given that Xiaomi previously launched 'c' version of Mi 4 and Mi 5. Unfortunately both were not launched in India, as the company's focus is on the sub-Rs. 12,000 price segment.

That said, Xiaomi has confirmed that the company will launch a new device in India in July, and we'll have to wait and see if Mi 6c to gets a surprise announcement.
