LG G6+, 32GB LG G6 pricing revealed


Earlier this month LG announced two new versions of its flagship G6 in home market of south Korea, but did not reveal the price and availability details: LG G6+ with 128GB storage, Qi Wireless charging support, and new color option including Optical Astro Black, Optical Terra Gold and Optical Marine Blue that changes color when light is reflected. And a 32GB storage version of the regular G6 (earlier was available only with 64GB storage).

Now the brand has revealed the pricing and availability details. The LG G6+ has been priced at 957,000 won ($834 | Rs. 54,000), while the 32GB LG G6 costs 819,500 won ($714 | Rs. 46,000). In addition, LG is offering free 1 year display replacement warranty. For the 32GB LG G6, the company is offering B&O Play earphone worth 200,000 won for just 5,000 won. To recap the specs, the LG G6  comes with 5.7-inch QHD+ Full Vision (aspect ratio of 18:9) display, Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM, Android Nougat (w/ LG UX 6.0), 13MP dual-cameras, 5MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, NFC, IP68 rating (water and dust resistance) and 3300mAh battery.

LG has already announced that all LG G6 models will get new features via a software update including motion recognition for face recognition function, that recognizes user's face, even if the screen is off, a new lower power optimization mode and 'Lens Blind Alert' to warn you when your fingers are covering the lens when taking a photo.

Moreover, the South Korean LG G6 (32GB & 64GB) and LG G6+ will get support for LG Pay payment service that works through four cred card brands, Shinhan, KB, BC and Lotte, which will be expanded to more banks by September.
