Canon launches EOS 6D Mark 2 DSLR Camera in India

Following the launch of EOS 200D DSLR camera in India, Canon has launched yet another EOS line camera in the country dubbed EOS 6D Mark 2 DSLR. The camera as been designed for enthusiast level photographers. 

The new EOS 6D Mark 2 DSLR camera is equipped with 23.6MP Full frame CMOS sensor to capture beautiful high-quality portraits and striking landscapes, even in low-light situations. It also includes Canon's Dual Pixel CMOS auto-focus technology, for fast tracing in Live View mode, and DIGIC 7 image processor that offers high image quality in low-light environments. 

It can record videos only at Full HD as there's no 4K support and provides continuous shooting speeds of 6.5fps. It boasts an ISO range of 100-40,000.

The camera has and has Optical Viewfinder with a 45-point All Cross-type auto-focus system; 7560 pixel RGB + IR metering sensor and a color detection auto-focus to provide accurate exposure in various lighting conditions. It is also capable of detecting skin tones and prioritizes focus on human subjects within a frame.

The basic specs include 3-inch TFT vari-angle touch screen LCD display,  built-in flash, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and is dust & water resistant.

The Canon EOS 6D Mark II is priced at Rs. 1,32,995 for the body only. You can get the camera with a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM II lens bundle for Rs. 1,85,995, and with the Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 STM lens at Rs. 2,02,995. It will be available in the country later this month.
