Motorola schedules July 25 event in New York City, Moto Z2 & Moto X4 expected

Motorola has scheduled an event in New York City on July 25 called #hellomotoword. The invite shared by the company says "you don't want to miss this" without giving any further details.

Although Motorola has not revealed what it will be presenting at the event, the company is most likely to introduce the Moto X4 and Moto Z2 Force. Both devices have been hitting headlines in recent times.

After a gap of two year, the Moto X4 will bring back the iconic Moto X line, which Motorola kept on hold to focus on the semi-modular Moto Z line. It is one of most interesting and highly-anticipated Moto device of the year and is said to offer premium design and top of the line specs, at an affordable price tag. It will have metal and glass body with curved edges, and IP68 rating for water and dust resistence.

And if Motorola decides to unveil the Moto Z2 Force at the event, we can expect new Moto Mods. The Moto Z2 will be the second Moto Z line this year, after the Moto Z2 Play.

Both Moto Z2 Force and Moto X4 will also be the company's first smartphone to come with dual-cameras as well.
