Samsung Galaxy J5 Pro is an upgraded Galaxy J5 (2017) with more RAM and storage

Samsung has announced an upgraded 'Pro' variant of Galaxy J5 (2017) in Thailand with more RAM and storage. Dubbed Galaxy J5 Pro, it comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, compared to 2GB RAM and 16GB storage on the Galaxy J5 (2017). The rest of the specs are the same.

The metal-clad Galaxy J5 Pro has 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor. It sports 13MP f/1.7 camera at the back, and 13MP f/1.9 selfie shooter at the front. Both are assisted with LED flash.

Connectivity options include microSD card slot, dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery and also gets a fingerprint scanner. It ships with Android Nougat.

The Galaxy J5 Pro is priced at 9,990 Thai Bhat ($294 | Rs. 19,000) in Thailand. There's no word when other markets will get the Pro version.
