The 32-inch Mi TV 4A is Xiaomi's smallest and cheapest smart TV


Xiaomi today launched the Mi Max 2 phablet in India for Rs. 16,999. Meanwhile, at an event in home market of China, the device maker introduced its smallest and most affordable Mi TV yet dubbed Mi 4A.

The Mi TV 4A 32-inch  uses a plastic housing with its entire body is black and has narrow bezel. Thanks to the plastic body, the TV has a reduced weight of juts 3.9kg.

The 32-inch screen bears a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels with viewing angle of 178-degrees and has a refresh rate of 60Hz. In terms of specs, the TV is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor with Mali 450 MP3 GPU and 1GB RAM, along with on-board storage of 4GB.

For connectivity, it gets two HDMI ports, an S/PDIF output, DTMB, an AV port and a USB port. It has two 5W stereo speakers, and runs Android powered TVPatch Wall system, which learns the user's viewing habits and offers content based on their liking.

The Mi TV 4A 32-inch is priced at CNY 1099 ($163 | Rs. 10,500), and will be available in China starting July 23.
