Here is the first photo of Google Pixel 2

Google is expected to launch follow up of last year's Pixel line dubbed Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 later this year. Last month, we got a glimpse of the bigger Pixel XL 2's (Taimen) design, and now Evan Blass writing for VentureBeat has  revealed a few details and shared a photo of the Pixel 2 code-named Walleye, that shows its front and back.

While the bigger Pixel XL 2 is rumored to manufactured by LG and have bezel-less design to compete with Samsung and LG, the smaller Pixel 2 is said to be manufactured by HTC. However, The Pixel 2 has thick bezels on the top and bottom so it won't be getting a bezel-less design, and that's for a reason.

The Pixel 2 will feature stereo front-facing speaker on the bottom bezels, and and the edge will be integrated with squeeze-sensitive frame, a tech that was used on HTC U11. This is for a feature called Edge Sense, and will let you squeeze the sides of the phone to interact with it or perform actions.

The device will still have two-tone rear panel, similar to its predecessors, with glass on top and metal covering the rest. But the glass area is smaller than the Pixel and houses only the camera and not the fingerprint sensor, instead it is moved to the metal housing.

Unfortunately the upcoming Pixel 2 line will not have dual-camera configuration and is following Apple's footstep by ditching 3.5mm audio jack.
