Ziox Duopix with dual-selfie camera and Android Nougat announced


Ziox Mobile has introduced its first dual-camera smartphone. Called Duopix, it boasts dual-selfie cameras at the front consisting of a 8MP sensor for the regular shots, and a 2MP sensor with wide angle lens for group selfies. The front cameras also features selfie-flash to offer better selfies in low-light conditions.

The Ziox Duopix comes with 5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9850 processor further aided by Mali-T820 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be expanded via microSD card. It has 8MP camera at the back along with a LED flash.

The dual-SIM phone runs stock Android Nougat and supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity. It is fueled by a 2500mAh battery, that's rated to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 650 hours of stanby time.

Ziox Mobile has not revealed information regarding the pricing and availability of Duopix, but considering the specs, it is likely to priced under Rs. 7,000. The phone should be out in the next couple of weeks.
