HOOQ to focus more on Hollywood movies and TV shows, announces Rs. 89 monthly plan


Singapore based video on demand streaming platform Hooq launched its services in India in 2015, and now it is revising its strategy. The company says India market is seeing growing demand for Hollywood content, so it will purely focus on Hollywood movies and TV show.

Hooq is also adding over 1,000 Hollywood movies and TV shows to its library. The service's library include popular contents from Sony, Warner Bros., such as Wonder Woman, The Da Vinci Code, Flash, Arrow, Gotham and more. Hooq customers will also be able to to enjoy exclusive titles like Lucifier, Super Girl, DC Legends of Tomorrow, The Bing Bang Theory and more.

Customers can download or stream contents from its refreshed library at an introductory price of Rs. 89, which offers three month of service. After three months you'll have to pay Rs. 89 per month.

Additionally Hooq is also offering TVOD (transactional video on demand), which means customer can rent contents on a pay-per-view basis.

Hooq's video-streaming service can be accessed via their app or from their website. The app is available for iOS and Android platforms.
