Huawei Maimang 6 with quad-cameras, near bezel-less design launch set for September 22


Two days ago Huawei Maimang 6 with model number RNE-AL00 was certified by TENAA, indicating an imminent launch. Now Huawei has confirmed that the Maimang 6 will be announced on Septmber 22 in China. 

The Chinsese device maker also shared a teaser of Maimang 6 confirming it will have a full screen display with minimal bezels on the side. In addition, Evan Blass also shared a press render of the device, reaffirming the same along with the the presence of four cameras, two at the back and two at the front. It will sport metal unibody design, and the fingerprint scanner will be located at the back.


According to TENAA listing, the Maimang 6 will feature 5.99-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Kirin 659 octa-core processor, and come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, expandable via microSD card. The dual-camera setup at the back consists of a 16MP and 2MP sensor, while the front facing camera will have dual 13MP and 2MP camera sensors. It will ship wih Android Nougat based EMUI, and pack 3240mAh battery. Color options expected are Black, Blue and Gold.

The Huawei Maimang 6 is expected to be rebranded as Huawei G10 for the international market. The Maimang 6 unveiling event on September 22 will kick off 2pm China time (11:30am India time). We should know all the official details next Friday.
