YU Yureka 2 with 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 652, 4GB RAM launched for Rs. 11,999

Micromax sub-brand YU's first smartphone Yureka which was launched back in 2014, is getting its first true successor. YU has just launched the Yureka 2 in India boasting impressive specs sheet. It's worth mentioning that YU also launched Yureka Black in June, but by comparison, the Yureka 2 has more powerful hardware inside.

The Yureka 2 sports a metal unibody design with rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes with 5.5-inch display. It is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor and packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, it gets 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 8MP front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, it supports dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. A 3930mAh battery runs the show and is backed by Quick Charge 3.0 technology for fast charging. On the downside, the device runs Android Marshmallow.

The Yu Yureka 2 has been priced at Rs. 11,999 and will be exclusively available from Flipkart starting September 20 in Gold color. Considering the specs and price, the Yureka 2 is the direct competitor to Xiaomi's most popular Redmi Note 4. Both have the exact same specs sheet, and same pricing.
