Nokia 2 may arrive with a massive 4000mAH battery

HMD Global is preparing to launch its most affordable Nokia branded device, the Nokia 2. The device surfaced on Geekbench, FCC and live photos, and now FCC has revealed some details about battery capacity.

A total of four Nokia 2 models (TA-1023. TA-1035, TA-1007 and TA-1029) were spotted on FCC, and the documents reveal that the phone will boast a massive 4000mAh battery. This is the largest battery ever on Nokia phone from HMD, and will most likely provide up to two days of run time on a single charge.

The listing also confirms that Nokia 2 will arrive in single-SIM and dual-SIM versions, and support 4G LTE.

According to earlier reports, the Nokia 2 will have 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 212 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot and 8MP/5MP cameras. It is most likely to ship with stock version of Android 7.1 Nougat, just like other Nokia branded Android phones.

It is still not known, when HMD plans to announce the Nokia 2.
