New update for Nokia 6 brings quick Screen Capture function
The Nokia 6 units in India are receiving a new software update, that brings a new feature, performance improvements, fixes and the latest security patch.
The update size is around 163MB and includes August security patch, fixes WiFi compatibility issues, improved stability, and anew quick action function called Screen Capture. This function lets you take screenshot by tapping the icon on the notification panel instead of the traditional power and volume up combination.
The software update is being rolled out over the air, and if you've not been notified yet, go to Settings > About Phone > System Update and then Check for update.
To recall, the Nokia 6 went on sale in India last month exclusively on Amazon India, and the response was overwhelming. It carries a price tag of Rs. 14,999, and boasts premium aluminum unibody design, 5.5-inch Full HD IPS Gorilla Glass display, Snapdragon 430 chip, 3GB RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, 16MP f/2.0 PDAF rear camera, 8MP f/2.0 84-degree wide-angle front camera, 4G VoLTE, NFC and 3000mAh battery.
It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, but is confirmed to receive Android 8.0 Oreo in the future.
