The Asus ZenFone 4 line up recently started hitting major markets. And now it appears that the Taiwaese tech giant is working on a new mid-range phone with near bezel-free design/18:9 aspect ratio.
China's TENAA has certifed a Asus smartphone with model number X018DC, and as usual posted the specifications and photos of the device.

It has very slim bezels on the sides, however, the top and bottom do have bezels, but smaller than what you see on a regular smartphone. The photos also confirms that the device will have dual-cameras and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
According to TENAA, the Asus X018DC will have 5.7 HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) dislay with 18:9 aspect ratio, and equipped with 1.5GHz octa-core and 4030mAh battery. It will have 16MP+8MP dual-camera at the back and 8MP camera on the front. It will arrive in two RAM/ROM variants: 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB, and run Android Nougat out of the box. The color options listed are Star Black, Light Pink, and Gold color.
There is no word, when the Asus will unveil this device, but since it has received TENAA certification, an official announcement is not far away.
