LG G Pad F2 8.0 Android tablet launches on Sprint for $149.99


LG and U.S carrier T-Mobile released the mid-range G Pad X2 8.0 Plus in the U.S last month. Now LG and Sprint has launched another budget tablet in the U.S dubbed G Pad F2 8.0.

Like the G Pad X2 8.0 Plus, Sprint's G Pad F1 8.0 also comes with an optional accessory called Plus Pack, which doubles as a kickstand. It packs an additional 4400mAh battery, and comes with 2 x 2W stereo speaker and a full size USB port to attach USB drives and hard drives.

The LG G Pad F1 8.0 featurrd 8-inch WXGA (1200 x 800 pixels) display and is powered by octa-core 1.5GHz MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB of expandable storage and packs 3000mAh battery. Here's where the Plus Pack comes into play, and gives the tablet an additional 4400mAh power, for a total capacity of 7400mAh. The Plus Pack attaches to the tablet via pogo pins.

The tablet runs Android 7.1 Nougat and includes 5MP front and rear camera, 4G LTE support, WiFi and Bluetooth.

The LG G Pad F2 8.0 is now available in the U.S from Sprint for $149.99 or $6.25 per month for two years. The G Pad Plus pack will be sold separately for $79.99.
