Samsung Philippines intros Galaxy J7 Core

Samsung is expanding its Galaxy J line up with a new model dubbed Galaxy J7 Core (SM-J701FZDDXTC). The phone has been launched in Philippines, and is a rebranded Galaxy J7 Nxt, that was launched in India earlier this year.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy J7 Core features 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 mobile processor with 2GB RAM and comes with 16GB internal storage, which can be further increased via microSD card.

The camera department includes  13MP f/1.9 rear camera with LED flash and 5MP f/2.2 front shooter also assisted by flash, to help the selfie camera capture better selfie in low-lighting conditions.

The dual-SIM phone runs Android Nougat out of the box and for connectivity the device supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. A 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on. Unfortunately it does not have  fingerprint scanner.

The Galaxy J7 Pro has been priced at PHP 19,990 ($390 | Rs. 25,000) and is available in Philippines via Samsung store and online on Lazada in Black and Gold
