Razer outs new Hammerhead USB-C earbuds for the Razer Phone


The Razer Phone is now available for purchase in the U.S and comes with features like 5.7-inch QHD 120Hz display, Snapdragon 835 chip, 8GB RAM and 4000mAh battery. But, it ditches the 3.5mm audio jack in favor of USB Type-C Audio.

To complement Razer Phone's 3.5mm audio jack-less design, Razer has launched Hammerhead USB-C earbuds. However, it will work with any Android device with a USB-C port.

The Hammerhead USB-C houses a custom-tuned DAC converter with digital output to produce clean, unprocessed audio from a USB-C enabled Android phone.

It features highly durable aluminum chassis, flat cables, and bi-flange ear-tips for passive noise isolation. The audio is powered by 10mm dynamic drives to produce deeper bass tones and clear highs. There's an in-line remote for quick controls such as play/pause music, accept/reject calls and adjust volume. It also comes with a carry case.

Besides Hammerhead USB-C, Razer also released Hammerhead for iOS Mercury, which has been designed to leverage the digital output of Apple Lightning connector sour-direct audio without processing for pure and accurate sound experience.

The Razer Hammerhead USB-C earbuds has been priced t $79.99/89.99 EUR and is available for purchase from company website in the U.S. The Hammerhead for iOS Mercury is also available for $99.99/109.99 EUR. They will be available world-wide starting Q1, 2018.
