Vodafone India's Rs. 199 prepaid plan offers 1GB data for 28 days

Vodafone India has been coming out with new tariff plans for its subscribers from time to time to counter Relaince Jio's latest tariff plan. The latest prepaid plan of Rs. 199 from Vodafone is designed for short term usage, which offers both voice and data benefits for a month.

The new Rs. 199 plan offer 1GB of data for 28 days. The 1GB offering is not per day data, but for the entire month. The voice calls benefits include 250 minutes a day and 1000 minutes a week. If the user exhausts this limit, they will be charged at 30 paisa per minute for subsequent calls. 

Also Vodafone's terms and conditions mention that users cannot make calls to more than 300 unique numbers in a seven days period. If they cross the 300-people mark, all calls will be charged at 30 paisa per minute for the remaining validity.

The new plan is currently available for Vodafone prepaid users in Delhi-NCR circle. 

Relaince Jio's similar offering is priced at Rs. 149, but offers more benefits. It comes with 2GB total data, unlimited local & STD calls and 300 SMS/day for 28 days. We can expect Airtel and other incumbent operators to come out with counter offer in the coming days.
