SanDisk is launching its iXpand Mini Flash Drive for iPhone and iPad in India. The pen drive comes in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128 storage capacities, with starting prices ranging between Rs. 2,750 to Rs. 7,050. The iXpand Mini Flash drive offers read speed of up to 70Mbps and is equipped with both a Lightning and USB 3.0 connector, that lets you quickly and easily transfer files between iPhone, iPad, Max and PC. It features encryption software that password protects files, and allows users to share content while keeping sensitive files protected across devices. The device comes with a companion app called iXpand Drive for iPhone and iPad, which allows users to automatically back up their camera roll as well as content from social networking websites including tagged images from Facebook and Instagram to the flash drive. In addition, the app also allows users to cast content from the SanDisk iXpand Mini Flash Drive directly to their TV via Chromecast or Amazon Fire. The app is available for download from the App store, and launches when the flash drive is plugged into the iPhone or iPad. The iXpand Mini Flash Drives is available to buy exclusively through Flipkart and is backed by two-year limited warranty.
Binatone, the global licensee of Motorola lifestyle products has launched the Moto Earbuds 2 in-ear headphone in India for Rs. 799. The Moto Earbuds 2 boasts is splash proof (withstand sweat and light rain) thanks to the IP54 certification, but it is not totally waterproof, so you won't be able to use it underwater. It features 10mm driver and noise cancellation to deliver superior and excellent sound output. It has built-in mic with button which allows you to answer calls and control music playback (pause and play). The cable is 1.2 metre long, and the earphones ship with two extra pairs of soft-tips ear cushion. The Moto Earbuds 2 comes in Red, Blue, Purple, Black, Slate and White colors, and will be available online on Flipkart and Amazon India, and offline via leading retail outlets across the country.
Apple's new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus do not come with the 3.5mm headphone jack, instead the audio is transmitted via the bundled Lightning Earpods. Since the same port is used for connecting both Earpods and charger, you'll not be able to listen to music or charge the iPhone at the same time. To overcome this problem, Belkin has introduced an adapter called Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar, that lets you listen to the music and charge your iPhone 7/7 Plus at the same time. Belkin's Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar adapter for the iPhone 7/ 7 Plus has a single male Lightning cable w/ connector on one end, and two female lightning connectors on the other. You can connect the regular 3.5mm earphones to Belkin's adapter using Apple's Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter. The new adapter works with any Lightning device running iOS 10 or later. It supports pass-through charging up to 12W, up to 49 kHz 24-bit audio output, and works with iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case and battery packs for charging on the go. Belkin says that it has worked closely with Apple to make the Lightning Audio + Charger RockStar, which means they are Apple certified and will be available in Apple stores as well. The accessory has been priced at $39.99 (Rs. 2,700) and will be available from Apple retail stores, Belkin and Apple's websites.
