In April, Huawei annnounced two flagship devices - Huawei P8 and Huawei P8 Max at an event in London. The company had a third device as well called Huawei P8 Lite which they didn't officially reveal.  The reason for Huawei to not reveal the device can be due to the fact that it wanted to boost the sales of the primary offering first. Since then, the P8 Lite has quietly gone for sale in a few countries across Europe. (Germany and Hungary for around $270).

Today, Huawei at its Premium South East Asia (SEA) launch Event in Bangkok officially announced the P8 Lite. The Huawei P8 Lite is a more affordable alternative to the P8. Unlike the P8 and P8 Max, the P8 Lite is built from plastic as opposed to metal.

The device doesn't come with microSD card slot instead the microSD card users the second SIM slot. Users will not be able to  take advantage of extended storage and dual-SIM at the same time.

The P8 Lite sports 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera for clicking selfies and video calling. On the connectivity front it supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and NFC, A 2200mAh battery fuels the P8 Lite. It measures 7.7mm thick and weighs only 131 grams.
