HTC Desire 620 Officially announced In Taiwan


Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC officially announced two new variants of the HTC Desire series - HTC desire 620 and HTC Desire 620G.  The former is 4G LTE capable and is powered by a 1.2GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor , while the latter supports 3G data connectivity and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor. 
Apart from these differences, the HTC Desire 620 and HTC Desire 620G, both of which have a dual-SIM card slot feature a 5-inch HD display, 1GB RAM,  8GB internal memory [expandable via memory card upto 128GB for the Snapdragon model and 32GB for the MediaTek model] and runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

Camera features include an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The phone is powered by 2,100mAh battery. Both handsets will be available in two colour variants - Marble white and Grey.

The HTC Desire is priced $225 (Rs 14,000), and the Desire 620G is priced at $160 (Rs 10,000). The new phone will hit HTC stores and Chunghwa Telecom offices in Taiwan on December 1. There is no word on global release of the handset.
