ZTE Grand SII launched in India, at Rs 13,999
Chinese telecom giant and device maker ZTE launched the Grand S II, at Rs 13,999. The phone will be exclusively available on Amazon starting December 1.
ZTE Grand S II features a 5.5-inch HD (1080x1920p) IPS displayand is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It runs the dated Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with ZTE's Mifavor UI running on top and motion control gestures.
The ZTE Grand S II features a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, and a 5-megapixel camera front-facing camera. Connectivity features include CDMA, GSM, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS. It packs a 2500mAh battery which delivers six hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. The device measures 157x77x7.9mm and weighs 120 grams.
The phone will compete with the likes of the Moto G, Asus ZenFone 5 and Redmi Note.
ZTE has also introduced ‘Hub and Spoke’ model for customer service in major cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Pune, Kolkata and Delhi. ZTE has approximately 300 service centers across the country and plans to expand to 600 outlets in India.
