Vivo X3S, X Shot, Y22, and Y15 Smartphones Launched in India

Vivo, apart from launching the World's slimmest smartphone - X5Max, also announced four more smartphones in India - Vivo X3S, X Shot, Y22, and Y15.

The Vivo Y15 is priced at Rs 8,000 and the Y22 is priced at Rs 10,000 and will be available starting Monday. The Vivo X3S and the X Shot, on the other hand, will be available next week and the price will be announced then. The Vivo X3S and the X Shot is expected to be priced between Rs 25,000 – Rs 30,000.

Mitashi Launches Play Thunderbolt Smartphone and GameIn ThunderPro console in India

Mitashi launched two new devices in the Indian market - Play Thunderbolt smartphone and the GameIn ThunderPro console. The Play Thunderbolt is the world’s first smartphone to feature a joystick whereas the GameIn ThunderPro on the other hand, is an Android-powered portable gaming console.

Coming to the specs, the Mitashi Play Thunderbolt features a 5-inch HD IPS display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz processor with PowerVR SGX 544MHz GPU paired with 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage [microSD card support upto 64GB]. The device runs Android Jelly Bean. Camera features include 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. It is powered by 4200mAh. Other features include dual SIM card support, dual speakers, OTG, and an 'ultra-sensitive' G sensor.
The Mitashi GameIn ThunderPro console is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core CPU with a Mali-400 graphics processor, paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage [microSD card support upto 32GB]. The console runs Android KitKat.

The console sports trigger buttons, dual joysticks and dual speakers. The console also features Wi-Fi Miracast support to mirror the device’s screen on to your TV wirelessly. You can also connect it to your HDTV using an HDMI cable. The GameIn ThunderPro will come pre-loaded with EA games.

Mitashi says the Play Thunderbolt smartphone and GameIn Thunder console will be available via Flipakrt for Rs. 12,990 and Rs. 9,990 respectively.

Xiaomi Redmi Note out of stock in second Flipkart flash sale in 8 seconds

Xiaomi has sold out 75,000 units of its latest Redmi Note smartphones in its second flash sale via Flipkart.The announcement was made by Hugo Barra , Vice President of International for Xiaomi on @MiIndiaOfficial twitter account.

Priced at Rs. 8990 the Redmi Note features a  5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by 1.7GHz Mediatek MT6592 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM with 8GB Internal storage [expansion via microSD card up to 32GB]. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean wrapped under MIUI version 5. Camera features include a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity features  include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. The device is powered by 3,100mAh battery.

Last week’s flash sale on December 2 saw 50,000 Redmi Note units sold out in mere 6 seconds.

Xiaomi also announced that the next flash sale for the Redmi Note will be on December 16. The registration window will open from today at 6pm IST to December 15, midnight.

Xiaomi Redmi Note to go on sale tommorow via Flipkart, 75,000 units up for grab [Registration ends tonight]

Xiaomi is all set to host the next flash sale of Redmi Note. The Redmi Note will go on sale tommorow via Flipkart at 2pm. The company has made 75,000 units available for the flash sale. Only registered customers will be able to get their hands on the Redmi Note. The Redmi Note is priced at Rs.8,999.

The registration will be closed tonight at 12pm. If you haven't registered go over to Flipkart MI page and register.

On December 2, the first flash sale of the Redmi note took place and the company sold 50,000 units of Redmi Note in mere 6 seconds.

Toshiba Launches 'Share Board', a 24 inch tablet that also works as a Monitor

Toshiba have announced a new tablet to please the Business environment dubbed "Share Board" in Japan. Share Board is a 24 inch tablet that can be used as a small TV via HDMI or a monitor that can mirror handset content via mircast. 

The tablet sports a 24-inch Full HD LCD display (1.920 x 1.080 pixels) powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.0 GHz, 1.5 GB of RAM memory, 16 GB space of internal storage, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system. The Shared Board has two 2 W speakers, weighs around 4 kilograms making it impossible to carry around. 

Shareboard comes with an infrared remote control , making it more like a smart TV. The size of the display offers interesting features such as split screen mode, that allows you to split the screen in two and play with two apps at the same time and enabling multitasking.

There is no information about the pricing and global availability of the Tablet.

Xiaomi Redmi 1s to go on sale via Flipkart without registration on December 8

Xiaomi announced that the Redmi 1s will go on sale on December 8(Monday) via Flipkart without registration 'while stocks last'. The announcement was made on its Facebook page and twiiter account @MiIndiaOfficial.

The dual-SIM Xiaomi Redmi 1S is priced at Rs 5999. It sports a 4.7-inch 720x1280 pixel IPS-LCD display and is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC (MSM8228); Adreno 305 GPU paired 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage; expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with MIUI v5. Camera features include 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash and 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is backed by 2000mAh battery.

The following day, Tuesday the Redmi Note will go on sale for the second time. The Redmi Note that was up for sale in the first flash sale via Flipkart went out of stock in just 6 second. The Redmi Note is priced at 8999.

50,000 Xiaomi Redmi Note sold out in 6 seconds in India

Xiaomi's Redmi Note went on sale earlier today via Flipkart for Rs. 8,999. The sale was a big success as the Chinese smartphone manufacturer announced that 50,000 units of Xiaomi Redmi Note that was up for sale in the first flash sale via Flipkart went out of stock in just 6 second.

Registrations for the Xiaomi Redmi Note’s second flash sale on December 9th will commence at 6 pm today till December 8, midnight.

The Redmi Note features a  5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by 1.7GHz Mediatek MT6592 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM with 8GB Internal storage [expansion via microSD card up to 32GB]. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean wrapped under MIUI version 5.

ZTE Grand SII launched in India, at Rs 13,999

Chinese telecom giant and device maker ZTE launched the Grand S II, at Rs 13,999. The phone will be exclusively available on Amazon starting December 1.

ZTE Grand S II features a 5.5-inch HD (1080x1920p) IPS displayand is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It runs the dated Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with ZTE's Mifavor UI running on top and motion control gestures.

The ZTE Grand S II features a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, and a 5-megapixel camera front-facing camera. Connectivity features include CDMA, GSM, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS. It packs a 2500mAh battery which delivers six hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. The device measures 157x77x7.9mm and weighs 120 grams.

The phone will compete with the likes of the Moto G, Asus ZenFone 5 and Redmi Note.

ZTE has also introduced ‘Hub and Spoke’ model for customer service in major cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Pune, Kolkata and Delhi. ZTE has approximately 300 service centers across the country and plans to expand to 600 outlets in India.

Xiaomi Redmi Note flash sale on Dec 2 via Flipkart [Registration Open]

Xiaomi's Redmi Note is now available for pre-order in India via Xiaomi's online retail partner Flipkart. Registration  is now open and will remain open till December 1 midnight. The Xiaomi Redmi Note is priced at Rs. 8,999.
The device will go on early sale for Flipkart First subscribers on December 1 and for the general public on December 2. The Redmi Note will be automatically added to the shopping cart of the first 5,000 Flipkart First customers who register for the handset's flash sale on Tuesday. Xiaomi is following its 'traditional' flash sale in India as it had done with its Redmi 1S and Mi3.

An e-mail sent to the Flipkart First subscribers titled 'Early Access to Redmi Note' reads
"The first 5,000 Flipkart First subscribers who register to buy, will get the Redmi Note added to their cart automatically and they can purchase the Redmi Note on 1st Dec 6PM IST, one day prior to its India launch. All Flipkart First subscribers who get Early Access on the Redmi Note will get an email from Flipkart to confirm their Early Access by 30th November."

The Redmi Note 4G will be available for sale from Flipkart and exclusively from Airtel flagship stores across six cities in the second half of December for Rs 9,999.
