Google's India Top searches of 2014 reveal that the Indian Railways’ official website, IRCTC has topped the 'Most Searched' list whereas E-commerce website Flipkart, PSU lender SBI Online, e-tailer Snapdeal and PNR status were other most searched words.

Indian Election 2014, FIFA 2014, iPhone 6, GATE 2015 and Narendra Modi were the most trending topics of 2014. Pornstar-turned-Bollywood actress Sunny Leone was the most searched person in 2014 followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in second spot. Leone starrer Ragini MMS 2 was the most trending movie in Google India. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were the most searched Bollywood stars in 2014.

Coming to Tech devices, Moto G was the 'Most Searched Tech Device' in the country this year.

Low-cost mid-end smartphone Moto G dominates the most searched tech device with the iPhone 6 second and Samsung Galaxy S5 third in 2014. The budget smartphone from Motorola - Moto E stands fourth on the list. Nokia X and Nokia XL managed the sixth and seventh position.

Xiaomi, which entered Indian market in second half of 2014 with Xiaomi Mi3 was seventh Most Searched Tech Device of the year in India. Samsung Galaxy Grand, Moto X and iPhone 5s are the last three tech devices that were most searched in India.
