Possible First Dual-Edge Display Smartphone, Xiaomi Arch Appears Online

Earlier this year, Samsung surprised the world by announcing the Galaxy Note Edge, a redefined version of Galaxy Note 4 with single-edge display.

Now, GizmoChina reports that Xiaomi is planning to launch a handset that may feature a dual-curved display dubbed as the 'Xiaomi Arch'. The website posted a poster of the device, and it clearly shows a smartphone with dual-edged display. The post of the Xiaomi Arch apperas more like a concept smartphone.

From the image we can see that the Xiaomi Arch features a dual-edge display instead of single-edge display seen on the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

The curves on its left display will show instant notification regarding calls, messages, and social media alerts, while the opposite side will show camera, music and several other features. The reports also stated that the handset will have Mi branding on top with three capacitive buttons at the bottom.

There is no official word from Xiaomi on the Xiaomi Arch. But the way Xiaomi is releasing all type of  devices - at affordable prices - they might want to work on a device with single or dual edge display.
