Eluga 2 is Panasonic's first 64-bit, Android Lollipop smartphone
Panasonic launched the successor of the Eluga U called the Eluga U2 in Taiwan. The device is priced at Rs. TWD 7,990 (Rs. 16,000) and can be purchased from yahoo online store in Taiwan. There is no details of its global release. The Eluga 2 is the first handset offered by Panasonic to run Android Lollipop.
Panasonic Eluga U2 is a single-SIM decive and runs Android 5.0-Lollipop with company's Fit Home UI on top.
It features a 5-inch full-HD IPS display with 720x1280 pixels screen resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2Ghz. It packs 2GB RAM and comes with 16GB internal storage and microSD card slot (32GB support)
The Panasonic Eluga U2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/ A-GPS. It is backed by 2500mAh battery. It measures 141.5x71x7.95mm and weighs 131 grams.
