Lenovo announces Tab 2 A10-70 and Tab 2 A8 Android tablets

 
Lenovo launched to new tablets dubbed Tab 2 A10-70 and Tab 2 A8 at MWC 2015.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 features 10-inch full-HD (1920x1080) IPS display with 10-point multitouch. It comes in two variants- Wi-Fi only and LTE. The Wi-Fi only variant is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core MT8165 SoC, while the 4G LTE variant features a 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core MT8732 and has a single Micro-SIM.

The tablet packs 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and houses 16GB inbuilt storage and microSD card slot. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat that will be upgraded to Lollipop in June. Camera features include 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera and 5-megapixel fixed-focus front facing camera. Connectivity features include dual-band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n + 5GHz 802.11a, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack. It is backed by 7000mAh battery. It also comes with a multi speaker sound bar with Dolby Atmos Audio.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A10 measures 171x247x8.9mm and weighs 509 grams. It will be available in Pearl White and Midnight blue colour options. It comes with an optional keyboard folio case accessory with removable keyboard.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 will be priced at $199 for Wi-Fi only model and $279 for the LTE model and will be available in April

The Lenovo Tab 2 A8 features 8-inch HD IPS display with 5-point multi-touch. The Wi-Fi variant is model is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, while the LTE model is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8735 SoC and has dual-SIM card slots for Micro-SIM Cards.

The tablet comes with 1GB RAM and is available in 8GB or 16GB inbuilt storage options. It also has a microSD card slot which supports upto 32GB microSD cards. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat. Camera features include 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity features include dual-band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n + 5GHz 802.11a, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack. A 4290mAh battery runs the show on the tablet.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A8 measures 125x210x8.9mm and weighs 360 grams. It will be available in Pearl White, Ebony, Midnight Blue, and Neon Pink colours.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A8 will be priced $129 for Wi-Fi model and $179 for LTE model and will be available in June.
