Dell Venue 10 7000 with premium design and enhanced productivity announced
Dell introduced a new premium Android tablet called the Venue 10 7000. The tablet sports a sleek, futuristic design with a barrel edge making it easy to hold and carry. It also can be used in five different configurations - tablet, slate, stand, tent or clamshell with the keyboard attached. It has a metal cylinder at the bottom which houses the battery and stereo speakers.
The tablet comes with MaxxAudio Mobile by Waves and front-firing speakers for immersive audio experience.
The Dell Venue 10 7000 sports a 10.5-inch (2560x1600 pixels) WQXGA AMOLED display. It is powered by 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor paired with 2GB RAM.
The tablet houses 16GB internal storage and microSD card slot. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Android for work on board that lets user separate work data from personal data.
Camera features include 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. There is also two Intel RealSense cameras at the rear which captures depth information and measure the distance between various objects.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0. A 7000mAh battery runs the show on Venue 10.
The Dell Venue 10 7000 is priced at $499 (Rs. 31,000) and is priced $629 (Rs. 39,000) with keyboard. It will be available on Dell.com in the U.S., Canada and China in May 2015.
