Xiaomi Mi 4 16GB, 64GB models gets price cut in India


Xiaomi announced a price cut for its 2014 flagship smartphone, the Mi 4 by Rs. 2000. 

Starting today the 16GB variant of Mi 4 will be available for Rs. 17,999 and the 64GB variant will be priced Rs. 21,999. The prices are down from Rs 19,999 and Rs. 23,999 respectively.

The price drops on Xiaomi Mi 4 is permanent and is effective starting Thursday noon and will be available at Flipkart and The Mobile Store for now. It will soon be available on Snapdeal and Amazon India at the new rate.
To recap, Xiaomi Mi 4 features 5-inch (1920x1080 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB/64GB internal storage. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI 6 on top. It comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony BSI sensor, 8-megapixel front facing camera and 3080mAh battery.

The price cut comes just a week away for Xiaomi's global event scheduled for April 23 where it will launch a new device which is likely to be a new variant of Mi 4, the Mi 4i.
