Asus ROG GL552 launched in India for Rs. 70,999

Asus's latest gaming laptop ROG (Republic of Gamers) GL552 has been launched in India. It features a backlit keyboard with WSAD keys highlighted and also features GameFirst III technology, which prioritises the flow of game data across network for smoother gaming experience.

The Asus ROG GL522 features 15.6-inch full HD LED backlit display and is powered by 4th generation Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor which is clocked at 2.6GHz with the Turbo boost frequency going up to 3.6GHz. This is a quad-core hyper-threaded processor. It comes with 8GB DDR3 RAM, Onboard storage include 1TB HDD and runs Windows 8.1. The laptop has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 GPU. 

The ROG GL522 is equipped with SonicMaster and Audio Wizard speakers, with ROG AudioWizard that serves five presets.  There is also an HD webcan, optical drive and 4-cell battery. Connectivity features include WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, HDMI port, three USB 3.0 ports, LAN port and VGA port. It comes in either black or grey exteriors.

The Asus ROG GL522 is priced at Rs. 70,999 and comes bundled with a headset, carry bag and a gaming mouse. It will be available at all leading e-commerce websites Flipkart, Amazon India and Snapdeal and at Asus exclusive stores from June 22.
