HTC One ME Dual SIM with MediaTek Helio X10 SoC goes official
HTC has announced another flagship called the One ME Dual SIM in China. The HTC One ME is powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 processor which features eight Cortex-A53 clusters running at 2.2GHz.
The One Me is the first smartphone to be powered by the Helio X10 processor.
The HTC One ME features 5.2-inch (2560 x 1440) IPS LCD display. It packs PowerVR G6200 GPU and 1GB RAM. The phone comes with 32GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for storage expansion. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top.
The One ME sports a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, BSI sensor and f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 4-UltraPixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for clicking selfies.
Connectivity features include 3G, 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0,GPS, A-GPS, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 1/b/g/n/ac, DLNA, and Micro-USB 2.0.It has a finger print sensor in the home button and houses HTC Boomsound dual front-firing speakers powered by Dolby Audio.
A 2840mAh battery fuels the One Me that is rated to deliver up to 23.3 hours of talk time and 598 hours of standby time on 3G networks. It measures 150.99 x 71.99 x 9.75mm, weighs 168 grams and comes in Meteor Grey, Gold Sepia, and Rose Gold colors.
Overall, the HTC One ME Dual SIM seems similar to the One M9+, bringing in plastic body and dual-SIM support but skipping One M9+'s depth sensor and the metal body.
The HTC One ME Dual SIM will go on sale in China first, but there are no details of pricing. There is no word if HTC will release the One ME outside China.
