Micromax Canvas Hue 2 with 5-inch display, octa-core SoC launched

Micromax has silently released the Canvas Hue 2 in India. The phone is available to buy via eBay.in for Rs. 11,736 and comes in Black color. Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom claims that the Canvas Hue 2 is available to buy from retila stores also.  It is priced at Rs. 12,499 (MOP) while the MRP is Rs. 17,999.

Micromax Canvas Hue 2 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) AMOLED display and is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor paired with 2GB RAM. The phone comes with 16GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

Canvas Hue 2 sports 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and Sony sensor. On the front there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera which can also be used for video calling.

Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB and GPS. A 2000mAh battery fuels the Micromax Canvas Hue 2 which  is rated to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 205 hours of standby time.
