Micromax Canvas Tab P690 3G voice-calling tablet launched in India for Rs. 8,999


Micromax launched a new budget Android tablet dubbed Canvas Tab P690 in India. The tablet is powered by an Intel processor, supports 3G connectivity via SIM-slot and offers voice calling capabilities.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P690 features 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core 4th generation Intel Atom processor paired with 1GB RAM. The tablet comes with 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot that accepts up to 32GB microSD cards. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and will be upgraded to Android Lollipop in the coming months.

The Canvas Tab P690 sports 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. A 4000mAh battery fuels the tablet that's rated to deliver up to 180 hours of standby time.. It measures 209.8 x 120.5 x 7.8mm, weighs 318g and comes in brushed metallic grey color.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P690 is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available across the country from June 7. It comes bundled with a premium free flip cover worth Rs. 1500.
