Oppo Neo 5 with 4.5-inch display launched in India for Rs. 9,990

Oppo has launched the Neo 5 (2015) smartphone in India. The Neo 5 was introduced last week globally. The phone is available to buy starting today for Rs. 9,990. Oppo's Neo 5 sports a premium dual-layer metallic design with laminated reflective glass panel that looks like glass.

Oppo Neo 5 features 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display with Dragon Trail Glass protection and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor paired with Mali-400 MP2 GPU and 1GB RAM. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot that accepts up to 32GB microSD cards. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with ColorOS 2.0.1 on top.

Camera features include 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera Sony IMX179 1/3.2″ sensor, f/2.2 large aperture, 5P lens and LED flash. On the front there is a 2-megapixel shooter for taking selfies. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is backed by 2000mAh battery. Some of the software features include easy screenshot capturing with three finger swipe, screen-off gestures, Beautify 3.0 image editing mode, double exposure for overlapping two images and Pure Image 2.0+ image creation engine.

The Oppo Neo 5 measures 131.9 x 65.5 x 8mm, weighs 135g and comes in Crystal White and Sapphire Blue colors.
