Motorola Moto X Style with 5.7-inch QHD display launched
Motorola, at launch events in London and New York took covers off the Moto X Style. It sports metallic accents and is coated with silicon rubber. It also has a water repellent coating.
The Motorola Moto X Style features 5.7-inch QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) TFT LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside there is an 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor paired with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB RAM. It comes in three storage variants 16/32/64GB, further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Camerawise it sports 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording capabilities. On the front there is a 5-megapixel shooter with 87-degree wide-angle lens, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 1.4um pixel.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/g/b/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 LE. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery and comes in Black and White colors. It will also be offered in 18 different inlays that includes Premium Horween leather and Natural wood backs via Moto maker. Moto X Play ships with a TurboPower 25 charger,that offers 10 hours of power in just 15 minutes.
Motorola has not revealed the pricing of the Moto X Style. The company has announced a Moto X Style Pure Edition for the US market, which is priced at $399 (Rs. 25,000). It will roll out starting September 2015.
